minimum
The August 12 S-GAME specification lists Windows 10/11 64-bit, i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1660 6 GB or RX 5500 XT 8 GB, and DirectX 12.
recommended
The same source lists i5-10600K or Ryzen 5 5600X and RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB or RX 6700 XT 12 GB, with 16 GB RAM. SSD installation is required.
Read the performance footnotes
The published minimum targets 1080p at 30 FPS and the recommended tier targets 1440p at 60 FPS, both with upscaling enabled. These are publisher targets, not benchmark results from this site.
How much SSD space is needed? · checked October 29
S-GAME gives an approximate 145 GB game size and asks for at least 300 GB free during pre-loading. The larger figure is preparation space for that process, not a permanent 300 GB installation claim. Allow room for updates; these PC figures do not establish PS5 size.
Do I need the day-one patch after pre-loading?
The later launch letter announces an approximately 5 GB update for ray/path tracing performance and bug fixes. Players who pre-loaded should install it before starting. Downloads without pre-loading include the latest version according to the letter. These are approximate, dated figures.
Should I install the newest NVIDIA driver?
The launch letter reports instability with 621.01 and temporarily recommends 617.42. This dated, game-specific recommendation supersedes the earlier generic instruction to update drivers. Check subsequent developer or NVIDIA announcements before changing your setup. It is not advice for AMD users.
